MEXICAN CORNBREAD
 

1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. cream style corn
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. oil
1 pkg. (6.5 oz.) Mexican cornbread mix

Mix ingredients and bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
