1 to 2 lb. hamburger 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. cumin (I like more) 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic or to taste 1 med. onion 1 can tomato sauce 2 lg. potatoes 1 can green peas 2 or 3 c. cooked rice Brown hamburger or cook until grey and all the pink is gone. Drain grease; add water to cover meat. Add salt, cumin, pepper, garlic and onions. Add 1 small can tomato sauce. Add potatoes and cook until tender. A few minutes before serving, add 1 can of drained green peas. Serve with rice or add rice to soup before serving. I put mine in the soup. This is good with crackers. |
