2 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. butter 1/8 tsp. salt Mix all ingredients together except pecans. Cook until sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Add pecans and cook, stirring constantly, until when tested in cool water a very firm (not hard) ball forms. If you get it too hard, add a little milk and cook a few seconds. Remove from heat and dip by teaspoonful on an oiled piece of waxed paper. |
