1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces 5 c. water 2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced 3/4 c. celery 1/2 c. sliced carrots 1/2 c. raw converted rice 1/4 c. chopped green onions 5 tsp. chicken flavored instant bouillon or 5 chicken flavored bouillon cubes 1/2 tsp. ground sage 1/4 tsp. pepper In a crock pot, combine ingredients. Cover, cook on low setting 7 to 9 hours (or on high setting for 4 hours). Makes about 2 quarts. |
