1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut sm. 3 c. water 3 cans beef broth 3 c. or 1 lg. can V-8 juice 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 tbsp. salt 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. chili powder 2 bay leaves 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes with juice Add all above to a big pot, cover, simmer 2 hours. Add 1 package frozen vegetables for soup. Simmer 1 more hour covered. |
