1 lb. pork steak, sm. pieces 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. oil 2 sm. yellow or green squash, chopped 1 can (1 lb.) potatoes, sliced 1 can (1 lb.) stewed tomatoes Salt & pepper to taste 1 clove garlic 1 tsp. cumin powder Water Brown pork steak in oil. Add onions, squash, potatoes and stewed tomatoes. Cover and simmer 1 hour, adding small amount of water as needed. Last 10 minutes add salt, pepper, garlic and cumin. Serve with salad and warmed flour tortillas. Serves 4. |
