8 slices bread 1 (7 oz.) can tuna 1/4 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 1/2 c. milk 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. paprika Trim crust from bread, place slices in greased 8 inch square baking dish. Combine tuna, celery, green pepper, and spread over bread. Sprinkle cheese over all. Top with remaining slices of bread. Combine milk, eggs, and salt; mix well. This much can be made ahead and set aside. When ready to bake, pour milk mixture over bread. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. |
