BISQUICK PIZZA SANDWICH
 

1 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. milk
Chopped onion to taste
2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.) with onion & pepper
1 tsp. oregano
2 c. Bisquick
1 egg
8 slices American cheese (or other cheese)
1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Cook and stir ground beef and onion until brown. Drain. Mix in 1 can tomato sauce, oregano and mushrooms. Chopped parsley, if desired. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.

Stir Bisquick mix, egg, milk to soft dough. Spread half the mixture in 9 x 9 inch greased pan. Pour other can of tomato sauce over dough. Layer 4 slices cheese, meat, mushrooms, remaining cheese slices and Parmesan cheese. Cover with remaining dough.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares and serve. Kids love it!. Make your own variations (ie) : sausage, pepperoni, green pepper. Serves 4 to 6.
