Mix together real well:

1 c. softened butter
1/3 c. whipping cream (not whipped)
2 c. flour

Roll 1/8 inch thick, cut with small round cutter. Dip in granulated sugar. Put on greased cookie sheet. Prick with fork. Bake 7 to 9 minutes at 375 degrees. Do not brown.

Mix together:

1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
Tint with food coloring

Frost cookie. Put 2 together to make a sandwich.
