2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil (or 1 tsp. dried) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped pimiento 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed 1/3 c. olive or peanut oil 1 (16 oz.) can chick peas, drained 1 1/2 c. (about 8 oz.) cut green beans (canned or fresh-cooked) In medium bowl mix vinegar, basil, salt, pepper and garlic. Beat in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Serves 4. |
