10 boiled potatoes, sliced (Idaho Red the best) 5 tbsp. oil 5 tbsp. cider vinegar 5 tbsp. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. chopped onions 5 (yes 5!) cloves of garlic (Hint: Sprinkle salt on them and smash with the flat of a lg. knife) 1 tsp. sugar For best results, add the potatoes and dressing in layers in a bowl to minimize the stirring and breaking of potatoes. This salad goes great with Kielbasa. |
