TAFFY APPLE SALAD
 

1 lg. can pineapple tidbits, drain and save syrup
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Mix above and refrigerate for 8 hours.

SAUCE:

Reserved pineapple syrup
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
4 diced sweet apples, unpeeled
8 oz. Cool Whip
2 c. Spanish peanuts

Cook pineapple syrup, sugar, flour, and egg on stove until thick, refrigerate 8 hours. Mix together apples, Cool Whip, and peanuts. Mix everything together and refrigerate another 8 hours.
