TAFFY APPLE SALAD
 

2 eggs, beaten
1 (16 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice to soak apples)
6 to 8 apples, peeled & cut up & soaked in pineapple juice
2 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped (can use nuts of your choice)

Mix together eggs, Cool Whip, sugar, flour, and vinegar. Drain pineapple and use the juice to soak chopped apples in to keep them from getting brown. Add drained pineapple and drained apples (throw away the juice). Refrigerate, adding the chopped nuts just before serving.
