6 lg. tomatoes, cut in bite-size pieces 2 red onions, sliced 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced Salt and pepper 1/3 c. prepared Italian non-creamy dressing In a salad bowl or mixing bowl, combine in 3 layers in the following order: tomatoes, onion, parsley, garlic powder, salt and pepper, brown sugar and Italian salad dressing. Cover and refrigerate several hours. Stir to mix before serving. Serves 5-6. Can be made ahead. Tastes even better the next day. |
