CRUNCHY TUNA-NOODLE SALAD
 

1 c. hot water
1 pkg. Tuna Helper mix for noodles, cheese, sauce 'n tuna
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Lettuce
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & sliced
1 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. sliced green onions
1 med. tomato, cut into wedges

Cook noodles in 6 cups rapidly boiling salted water (1 teaspoon salt) until tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain. Rinse under running cold water. Heat sauce mix and 1 cup water just to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, stirring constantly 1 minute; remove from heat. Let sand 10 minutes. Stir in mayonnaise. Mix noodles, sauce, tuna, water chestnuts, celery and onions. In large bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. Stir before serving. Serve in lettuce lined bowl and garnish with tomato wedges. 5 servings.
