1 bunch broccoli 1 onion, chopped 1 c. salad dressing 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 can water chestnuts, cut up 1 lb. bacon, cut, fried & drained 1/2 c. raisins Cut broccoli stems and flowerettes into small pieces. Rinse in hot tap water for 1-2 minutes. Add onions, water chestnuts, bacon and raisins; mix well. In separate small bowl mix salad dressing, sugar and vinegar together. Pour over vegetable mixture and mix. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve. |
