GREEN PEPPER STEAK AND RICE
 

1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1/3 inch strips
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. cooking wine
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. green peppers, sliced
1 c. sliced onions
2 lg. tomatoes, quartered
2 c. hot cooked rice

Brown steak with paprika. Using high heat, brown meat rapidly in butter on all sides. Reduce heat. Add wine, soy sauce and seasonings. Simmer 25 minutes. Blend corn starch and water. Stir into meat. Arrange onions, green peppers, and tomatoes over steak. Replace cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve over rice.
