1 lb. ground beef 1 c. uncooked rice 1 med. onion 2 tbsp. oil 2 c. water 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 6 oz. or more grated cheese Brown beef, rice, and onion in oil, drain fat. Add water, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and mix well. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir and top with cheese. Cover until cheese melts. |
