1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 3/4 c. water 2 c. blueberries 1 1/2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch and water in pan. Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly until it boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add berries. Cool 15 minutes. Set oven at 375 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Add milk. Mix with flour mixture. Pour berry mixture into baking pan. Pour cake mixture on top. Bake 45 minutes. |
