BREAD PUDDING WITH BRANDY TOPPING
 

3 c. milk
3 c. broken bread
3 eggs, well beaten
1 mashed banana
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tbsp. almond flavoring
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Place broken bread in Pyrex dish with sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, vanilla and almond flavoring. Add mashed banana and well beaten eggs and milk.

Mix well in dish until all is blended together.

Place in oven. Bake about 1 to 1 1/2 hours in 350 degree oven. Bake until golden brown.

BRANDY TOPPING FOR BREAD PUDDING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 cube butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/4 c. brandy

Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar, vanilla and almond flavorings and brandy. Mix well and cook over high heat constantly stirring. Turn heat down and cook for about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and cool. Spread over bread pudding.
