GRANDMOTHER'S GRAPE NUT BREAD
 

1 c. Grape Nuts cereal
2 c. sour milk (add 1 tsp. vinegar to 1 c. milk)
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten

In a bowl, soak Grape Nuts in sour milk for 15 minutes. Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Alternately mix with dry ingredients the Grape Nuts mixture and eggs. Place in greased and floured loaf pan and let stand for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes, until bread tests done.
