6 c. flour 1 c. shortening 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1 1/2 c. hot water Combine flour, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening, using a pastry blender, fork or hands until crumbly. Add hot water until dough is moist not sticky. Knead for 1 minute. Allow to rest. Make balls and roll out tortillas. Refrigerate until you are ready to use. |
