SOURDOUGH WHOLE WHEAT BISCUITS
 

2 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sourdough starter

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in the butter. Work in the starter until well blended. Turn out onto floured surface and knead gently for 2 minutes. Pat dough to thickness of about 1 inch. Cut into rounds with biscuit cutter; place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
