2 c. buttermilk 2 eggs or 3 whites 1/4 c. oil or melted butter 1/4 c. honey 1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. white flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Blend liquid ingredients together until well mixed. Blend dry ingredients in separate bowl, then add all at once to liquid mixture beating only until large lumps disappear. Use a fork or whisk, over beating will make pancakes tough. Cook on a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium-high heat (375 degrees). Makes 16-20 small pancakes. |
