HONEY WHOLE WHEAT BREAD WITH OAT BRAN
 

Combine in large mixing bowl: 1 c. oat bran 1 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. dry yeast

Heat in saucepan over low heat until very warm (120 degrees F) : 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. honey 2 tbsp. cooking oil

Pour warm liquid over flour mixture. Blend at low speed 1 minute and medium speed 2 more minutes. By hand stir in additional 1 cup whole wheat flour and 4 to 4 1/2 cups white flour.

Knead 5 minutes on floured surface. Place dough in greased bowl. Cover, let rise for 45-60 minutes, until dough is double in bulk. Punch down, divide in half. Shape loaves, place in greased pans, cover and let rise 30 to 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Makes two loaves.
