3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 egg 2 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. milk 2 c. blueberries, strawberries or 2 bananas 1 c. nuts (optional) TOPPING MIXTURE: 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin or bread pan. Mix sugar, butter and egg. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries. Fill pan 2/3 full. Sprinkle topping on. Bake muffins 20 minutes, bread 1 hour. |
