HERB PARMESAN BATTER BREAD

3 tbsp. sugar
3 c. warm water
3 pkgs. dry yeast or 2 (2 1/2 oz.) cake yeast
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. oregano
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tbsp. salt
8 to 10 c. white flour

Proof the yeast in warm water with sugar, then combine with the other ingredients in the bowl of a mixer. Work in 5 to 6 cups of the flour and beat on medium speed until the dough is very smooth. Turn the mixer down to low and add the rest of the flour as needed, 3 to 4 cups. The dough is much stickier than most others, so add only enough flour to be able to handle the dough. Divide the batter and shape into loaves. Put right into greased loaf pans, rise, and bake at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
