1/4 c. shortening 1/4 c. butter Place in 9x13 inch pan. Melt in oven. 1 fryer chicken, cut up, wash thoroughly, pat dry with paper towel 1 c. flour 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. paprika Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a paper bag. Shake 3 or 4 pieces chicken at a time, to coat completely. Place, skin side down, in single layer in baking pan. Bake 45 minutes, then turn over. Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, drain 1 large can of peach halves; place a whole clove in each. Set aside. BISCUITS: 2 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix 2/3 c. milk Mix until dough forms; beat 30 seconds. When chicken has baked a total of 1 hour, push to one end of pan. Drop biscuits on other end. Place peach halves on top of chicken. Bake another 15 minutes or until biscuits are browned.
