4-6 chicken breasts, halved & boned 2 tbsp. butter 3/4 c. water 1/4 c. dry white wine 1/4 c. slivered cooked ham 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1 pkg. (7/8 oz.) gravy mix for chicken Salt & pepper to taste Brown chicken in melted butter in skillet. Pour off excess fat. Blend water, wine, gravy mix, salt and pepper. Place ham on top of chicken; pour mixture over. Cover, then simmer 20-30 minutes until tender. Remove to broiler pan. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Broil a few minutes to melt cheese. Serve with sauce spooned over it. |
