Spicy. 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 c. minced onion 1/2 c. chopped green peppers (can use frozen onions & peppers) 1 egg 1 c. "no cholesterol" mayonnaise 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 bottle chili sauce, divided Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl, combine all ingredients except 1/2 chili sauce. (Save 1/2 bottle chili sauce for topping.) Mix well and shape into loaf. Place mixture in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 45 to 60 minutes. During last 10 minutes, spoon remaining 1/2 chili sauce over the top to form a glaze. Bake another 5 to 10 minutes. Serves 4 to 6. |
