6 pieces chicken 6 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 2 c. chicken broth (or chicken bouillon) 1/2 c. sherry Salt & pepper to taste Brown chicken in skillet or Dutch oven in 6 tablespoons butter. Remove chicken to baking dish. Add flour to butter in skillet and brown. Add chicken broth, sherry, salt and pepper. Blend well and pour over chicken in baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. |
