Butter 2 slices bread; cut into 1/2 inch cubes and set aside. Cut remaining bread in 1 inch cubes. Place HALF of unbuttered cubes in bottom of 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
Combine in bowl chicken, vegetables, mayonnaise and seasonings. Then add 1 can of soup and 1/2 cup cheese. Spoon over bread cubes. Sprinkle remaining unbuttered bread over mixture. Combine eggs and milk. Pour over all. Cover and chill one hour or overnight.
Spoon 1 can of soup over top. Sprinkle with buttered cubes. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese over top the last few minutes of baking time. Makes 6 servings.
