MOIST TURKEY OR CHICKEN DRESSING

4 c. cornbread crumbs, lightly packed
2 c. bread crumbs, lightly packed
1 tsp. ground sage
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery soup
Chick or turkey broth, enough to make it moist
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. onion, diced
2 tbsp. butter

Melt butter. Cook onion and celery until tender. Mix with crumbs and cornbread; add spices. Pour soups over all and mix ingredients well. Pour enough turkey or chicken broth over mixture until desired moistness is reached. Spread in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. For a small family divide and freeze half for later use. This makes some of the best dressing ever.
