6 oz. pkg. noodles 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1 sm. can mushrooms, drained 3 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1 1/2 c. milk or chicken consomme 2 c. diced turkey (cooked) 1 c. grated sharp cheese Crushed corn flakes Cook noodles; drain well. Saute green pepper and mushrooms in butter. Add flour; blend well. Add milk or consomme and cook, stirring until thick. Arrange noodles, sauce, turkey and cheese in alternate layers in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 4. |
