1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1 c. shelled pecan halves 1/4 c. butter, melted 3 eggs, well beaten 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell Combine sugar, syrup, and melted butter. Add beaten eggs and pecans to syrup mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour filling in pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 300 degrees for 35 minutes. Yields one 9 inch pie. |
