PIE CAKE
 

1 can fruit pie filling, such as cherry, apple, pineapple, etc.
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts

Spread pie filling in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; sprinkle dry cake mix over filling. Dot with butter and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve warm or cold. May be topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
