DEEP DISH APPLE PIE
 

Tart apples, sliced (Use enough apples to fill a lg. pie plate)

TOPPING:

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar together. Add melted butter. Beat well. Fold in flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Spread over apples. Bake until top is crisp and apples are done.
