1/2 c. lemon juice 1 1/3 c. Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk 3 egg yolks 1 graham cracker pie shell MERINGUE: 3 egg whites Dash of cream of tartar 6 tsp. sugar Blend lemon juice into milk. Add egg yolks. Blend thoroughly. Pour into pie shell. Add cream of tartar to egg whites, beat until stiff enough to hold peak. Add sugar gradually, beat until stiff. Top pie with meringue. Bake in 325 degree oven until meringue is lightly browned. |
