1 1/2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 pt. peppermint ice cream 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, partially thawed 3 tbsp. finely crushed peppermint candy Additional peppermint candy for garnish (optional) Combine crumbs and melted butter; press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. Combine ice cream and whipped topping; spoon into crumb crust. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons candy; freeze until firm. Garnish with additional candy if desired. Yield: 1 (9-inch) pie. |
