HOMEMADE PIE CRUST
 

Makes 3 tops and 3 bottoms.

FLOUR MIXTURE:

1 lb. lard
5 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. fine brown sugar

1 egg 2 tbsp. vinegar Cold water

Mix flour mixture with hands. In a 1 cup measuring cup, mix egg and vinegar, then fill to brim with cold water. Mix with flour mixture.

Roll into pie crusts and place in pie pans and bake at 450 degrees for approximately 10-15 minutes until lightly brown, depending on pies.
