Cream together: 1 1/2 sticks of butter 2 c. flour 1 c. chopped pecans Press mixture into a 9 x 13 inch ungreased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bottom is browned. Cool before proceeding to next layer. SECOND LAYER: Cream together: 8 oz. cream cheese 1 sm. container Cool Whip 1 c. powdered sugar Spread mixture on top of 1st layer. THIRD LAYER: Mix together: 1 sm. pkg. chocolate instant pudding 1 sm. pkg. butter pecan instant pudding 3 c. milk 1 c. powdered sugar Spread on top of 2nd layer. TOP LAYER: Top off with another small container of Cool Whip and garnish with pecan pieces. Excellent recipe for the holidays! |
