2 c. warm water 1 tbsp. yeast 1 box white cake mix 4 c. flour
Dissolve yeast in water. Add cake mix and flour. Dough will be soft. Mix well. Let rise about 1 hour. Roll out on floured counter. Cut. Let rise 30- 45 minutes. Fry in vegetable oil.
Glaze while warm with: 1/2 c. hot water 1 tsp. vanilla

Hi Debbie,
There is yeast in the recipe so self-rising flour is not needed. Assume all purpose flour whenever a recipe does not specify another kind of flour.
