2 gal. cucumbers
1/2 gal. onions
2 peppers
1 can pimentos (opt. for color)
1 c. canning salt
Mix together, cover with crushed ice. Let stand 3 hours. Drain. Mix: 5 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric 2 tsp. mustard seed 2 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. alum
Pour over cucumbers. Bring to a boil. Pour in jars and seal. Makes approximately 7 quarts.
