SAUSAGE-CHEESE LASAGNA
 

1 lb. hot bulk pork sausage
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
1 1/2 tsp. dried whole basil
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown sausage in a skillet, stirring to crumble, drain off drippings. Stir in soup, garlic, oregano, and basil. Mix well. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Place 3 noodles in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 3 inch baking dish. Layer 1/3 each of meat mixture, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, and Parmesan cheese over noodles. Repeat layer twice. Cover with aluminum foil. Let stand 2 hours or refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
