POLISH LASAGNA
 

1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
1 head cabbage (good size)
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 med. onion, chopped
Sm. amount of bacon, cooked & grease from bacon
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook rice; set aside to cool. Cut up cabbage and cover with water. Boil 10 minutes, or until slightly cooked (drain and set aside). Mix ground meat, onion, salt, pepper, rice and 1/2 can of sauce; mix well.

Spray "Pam" on bottom of lasagna size pan. Layer 1/2 of cabbage on bottom of pan. Layer meat and rice mixture. Top with rest of cabbage. Pour the rest of the sauce over top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
