1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. oatmeal or coconut
Cream together shortening, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add vanilla and eggs; beat well. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt stirring until blended. Stir in coconut or oatmeal.
Spread evenly into greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Frost with Pillsbury Frosting Supreme (vanilla).
