1 c. butter
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix shortening, sugar, peanut butter and eggs thoroughly. Stir in cream of tartar, flour, soda, eggs and salt. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
