2 tbsp. dry mustard 2 tbsp. onion powder 2 tbsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. paprika 1 tbsp. white pepper 1 tbsp. ground thyme 2 tbsp. crushed basil leaves Combine all ingredients in a shaker and serve in place of salt. Choose spices which are coarsely ground for a better texture. Makes 2/3 cups. HINT: The garlic powder may be omitted and 1 or 2 teaspoons of turmeric added for a change of flavor and added color.
