HALF MOON SOUR CREAM COOKIES
 

1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Cream together sour cream, sugar and butter. Add beaten eggs. Then add remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

FROSTING FOR HALF MOON COOKIES:

2 tbsp. soft butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa

Cream butter, vanilla and sugar. Divide frosting into 2 bowls. Add cocoa to one of the bowls. Frost each cookie with half white and half chocolate frosting.
