TEA BISCUITS
 

3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. seedless raisins
1 egg
1 c. milk (2 or 3 ice cubes)

Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add raisins, blend in butter. Beat egg, add to milk and ice cubes. Add to dry ingredients. Mix only until moistened. Remove ice cubes. Spoon into greased 12 x 3 x 3 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until brown.
